UPDATE 3:45pm I decided to slow down the video (below) to see if I could catch any out of state Union “activists” by their sings, jacket etc and sure enough, right there holding up a sign Sheet Metal workers Local #24 from Ohio bused in. How nice to have personal days paid for by your employer to take out of state trips to ahem lobby!
I watched a live stream Press Conference with Gov. Snyder, House Majority leader Jase Bolger and Senate majority leader Randy Richardville and three union members,
From the Conference:
The bill(s) will be introduced today and will include public sector the ONLY exceptions are fire and police
Apparently they believe they have the votes to pass the legislation in both Houses
The bill will be passed by the end of this year
Bills take 90 days to go into effect
The House extended its sessions hours…..House Session will be in session the following days:
Friday, December 7, 2012 at 10:00am
Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00am
Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 1:00pm
And Monday, December 10, 2012 at 10am.
And at the Capitol, Union “activists” attempted to storm the chambers and the Captiol was put on lock down
