*BREAKING* House Passes Health Care Exchange Bill!

Michigan Citizens,

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” Wendell Phillips, (1811-1884), abolitionist, orator and columnist for The Liberator, in a speech before the Massachusetts Antislavery Society in 1852

Apparently a majority of House members (78 unofficial tally) adopted the “Pelosi Position” of voting on the bill to know what was in it and voted to pass the Federal Level One Grant Appropriations bill HB 4111 for the implementation of the Health Care Exchange!

Rep Howrylak (R-Troy) of the House Appropriations Committee, who voted no on passing HB 4111 out of Committee stating he hadn’t been given access to the approved grant document for the funding.

The bill will now go the Senate where we will continue to concentrate our efforts. I will post a ROLL CALL as soon as it posted in the House Journal. As always we will keep you updated on any new activities.

UPDATE: HOUSE REPUBLICANS who Voted YES on HB 4111

Looks like our elected people in Lansing will be looking for new careers next election. Nothing is free! When Michigan gets money from the Federal Government, we the People in Michigan are paying for that as it is just a shifting of money from one entity to the other. Anything coming from Washington has strings attached, you can be sure of that. This is like a huge mafia and you get money, you had better be ready for the demands tied to it, probably hidden, but no matter, it is citizens who have to give up their economic freedom to subsidize the grants and whatever the governments of Michigan or Federal demand through taxes. Doesn’t anyone understand what the word NO means!

We need to know who voted yes and replace them no matter who they are.

We won’t know who voted until the House Journal is published, either late tonight or tomorrow but unfortunately we DO know its was a big majority 78 YES
GOP and Democrats joining votes and singing Kum Ba Ya while pushing Michigan to its own fiscal cliff and loss of liberty
