The New MIGOP Mafia
PRIMARY VOTERS GUIDE (Tues. Aug 5th)
The New MIGOP Mafia
“Leave the gun, take the cannoli” Peter Clemenza
The New MIGOP Mafia actually is part of the voter’s guide!
It has become apparent that the current Lt. Governor Brian (Godfather) Calley has formed his own Convention election Mafia Borgata (family) apparently in an attempt to “whack” challenger Wes Nakagiri
Consigliere John Yob, “We have put together the largest precinct delegate recruitment project in Michigan history…”senior advisor John Yob said in an email.
The “recruitment project ‘ consisted of numerous surveys to determine a precinct delegates’’ political philosophy and if he/she was a ally or potential Calley voter. But wait there is more!
Capo Richard “Richie the Boot” McMellan who formed a shadowy 527 Group, Michigan Advocacy Trust (financial donors unknown) was tapped to send out mailers in at least four counties that highlight so-called “true conservatives” in contested precinct delegate races. ”True Conservatives” meaning being loyal to Godfather Calley.
Original paperwork listed Linda Lee ”Doll face” Tarver, (MIGOP ethnic vice chair,) as the group’s chair.
Knowing the jig was up Richie broke Omerta (code of silence) and started singing, fingering “Big Norm” Schinkle and “Tony Boy” Draunt. Shinkle and Daunt both work for the McNeilly family’s, “Michigan Freedom Fund”
“Big Norm” Schinkle (8th District Chair) immediately distanced himself saying, “I don’t know nuthin!” This is “the Boot’s” idea!
This follows early reports of a Calley family soldier, Nick “the Bug” Buggia, also a notary, who attended a county GOP meeting collecting prospective delegates’ paperwork and affidavits of identity but instead of turning them into the Gratiot County Clerk’s Baggia took the documents to Grand Rapids for “review” (review meaning probably checking into whether they support Godfather Calley) before turning their documents in.
Later, consigliere John Yob, of the Calley family, admitted that Buggia does work for his “operations.”
Putting aside “The Godfather” references when was the last time anyone ever send out a flier suggesting a vote for precinct delegates?? Probably about 25 years ago when Pat Robertson ran for president and there was a flood of newcomer grassroots, many Christians into the GOP. Same story, different date. The powers that be trying to stay the powers that be. However, isn’t this supposed to be the Party of free and open elections? This type of behavior makes of mockery of that process and further cements in the minds of many that there is NO difference in the Parties. And when there is no difference why bother going to the polls?
Suggested NOT to Vote for any name that appears on the Michigan Advocacy Trust Flier
Are there open precinct positions in your area? Check your sample vote for example if there is a “Vote for not more than 4″ and only two precinct delegate candidates running than it is not too late to become a Precinct Delegate!
You fill out a “Declaration of Intent Write-In Form” has to be NOTARIZED and turned in to the the “BOARD OF ELECTION INSPECTOR” AT THE POLLING LOCATION ON ELECTION DAY (TUES, AUGUST 5). Vote for your self, have a couple friends vote for you and you WIN!

Suggested Vote NO
Why really budget if you can just keep asking for tax payer money and receive it? Usually for “services” the government shouldn’t be offering and you do not use
Judges
These are important elected positions yet these are offices that receive very little research. One method when information is scarce is to visit Liberal/Democrat sites to see who they are endorsing and at the very least do NOT vote for them! UAW link to county-by-county statewide endorsements for all offices on the ballot
I decided to focus on mostly incumbent races that have challengers.
Grassroots activist and state GOP Committee member Isabelle Terry compiled a list of some of the most egregious policies and who voted for them. I added the Obama Care Exchange, the $9.8 Fed start of money for a state based “benefit” Exchange, Obama Care Fed Grant and the Road Tax
Suggested votes are based on mostly on these criteria
LEGEND
Medicaid Expansion (ME)
Obama Care Exchange (OCE) (SB 693 –Senate Vote Only)
Obama Care Start Up Grant OCG (HB 4111–House Vote Only)
$9.85 million in Federal funding to establish a State-based health benefit exchange, called MIHealth Marketplace (FF)
Road Taxes (RT) (PASSED in the HOUSE. FAILED in the SENATE
&/or Common Core (CC)
&/or the Minimum Wage Hike (MW)
&/or the Detroit Bailout (DB).
GOVERNOR
Since the Snyder administration policies have has included, Obama Care Exchange, Medicaid Expansion, DRIC bridge, increased taxes and an increased Michigan budget, Common Core, corporatism via the MEDC and changing the Elliot Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act to include “sexual ordination” AND Gov. Snyder has refused to fill out a Right to Life questionnaire and has supported a “woman’s right to choose” I will continue to “vote for principle” and not vote for him and “cherish the sweetest reflection that my vote is never lost.”

Anyhow, as a plus for the incumbent Tim Walberg recently authored H.R. 5212, the ‘Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act,’ which seeks to restore personal property rights under the Fifth Amendment and ensure due process of law by reforming long-standing civil forfeiture policy. Personally I like Mike but the truth is that Granholm instituted the Michigan Business Tax under his watch as Senate majority leader. Bishop is also endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a pro-corporatist, anti-market interest group dedicated to defeating principled grassroots conservatives. RedState

Colbeck was instrumental in attempts to stop the Medicaid Expansion. “The plan almost fell apart when Republican Sen. Patrick Colbeck decided not to vote the first time the bill came up, leaving it with a 19-18 tally, one vote shy of passage.
A bill needs 20 votes to pass. If Colbeck, an ardent opponent of the expansion, had voted no as expected, a 19-19 tie would have happened. And Lt. Gov. Brian Calley would have had to cast the tie-breaking vote. He was prepared to support the expansion.” He also led the charge in denying the bill immediate effect, “The Senate failed to get the two-thirds meaning it won’t become law until April 1″ USA Today
And Colbeck was to my knowledge the only Senator to be publicly vocal against the huge (transportation) tax increases. See video of Sen. Colbeck’s passionate speech on the Senate floor.

He is not an incumbent and he has no opponent however, this is my former territory (Delhi Twp-Holt) and this guy is a total and complete good ole boy RINO and folks in Delhi who do not know already need to know. Actually he is apolitical because he would vote any which way to keep his job on the Delhi Township board.
John Hayhoe refused to fill out a RTL questionnaire because…he isn’t! He actually gave money to an uber, uber Liberal candidate Kara Hope running for County Commissioner (Delhi township good ole boy uber Liberal clerk’s Evan Hope wife) running against an incumbent Republican!
He also manages somehow, to get big asphalt paving contracts (his business) from the Township. Valhalla Park parking lot and the “trail to nowhere” humongous parking lot are two that come to mind.
He also voted for the new homosexual/transgendered “whatever’ ordinance that is part of a state wide plan by homosexuals activists to change Michigan’s Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights law to include sexual ordination. And other offenses I do not have the space to list .
And the GOP wonders why so many people see no difference between the two parties? This guy is the poster boy for the reason REAL Republicans and REAL Conservatives stay home instead of going to the polls.

I would highly recommend MacMaster over Schmidt. Worked with both as a state rep. The difference is huge. IVOTERGUIDE.com ranked Schmidt a liberal and MacMaster a conservative I believe.

This was a tough one for me becasue Schmidt definitely needs to go and I think I made that clear. However, ultimately I think the people of the district know their district best and will pick the most conservative candidate

Representative Greg MacMasters, listened to his constituents in the 105th. and on the final Medicaid Expansion bill, voted “NO”. Unlike Wayne Schmidt, who voted for it! Proving that MacMaster, listens to the people he represents. I will vote for the man who listens to the people.

I would request that you consider Geoff Haveman for the 90th. The establishment is pushing Daniela Garcia who is for obamacare expansion, common core (even calling it “grass roots”!), further gas taxes and Detroit bailouts.
Geoff Haveman’s positions are clearly constitutional and transparent. He seems like the most formidable challenger.
