MICHIGAN News – Bills to Support and Kill

“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government.”
George Washington Farewell Address — 1796

“The propriety of a law, in a constitutional light, must always be determined by the nature of the powers upon which it is founded.”  Alexander Hamilton Federalist No. 33 — 1788

North Carolina last month became the seventh state to pass legislation barring judges from considering foreign law in their decisions, including sharia. The bill awaits the signature of Republican Gov. Pat McCrory.

Six other states — Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Tennessee — have already enacted similar legislation since 2010, and at least 25 have introduced such measures, according to the Pew Research Center’s Religion and Public Life Project.

Muzzie DocThis bill is particularly timely  in the light of two Livonia doctors recently arrested for female genital mutilations of young girls 6-8 years of age in Livonia. This isn’t some 3rd world village, its  LIVONIA MICHIGAN. And according to Pamela Geller,  “apparently she intends to argue that female genital mutilation (contrary to constantly repeated establishment media myth) is justified in Islam, and that therefore Dr. Attar was just exercising his freedom of religion.”

And THAT is the tact they intend to use to try apply foreign law into our court system, freedom of religion.

And although some argue back and forth  whether this is mandated in Islam. (seems clear to me here).  And correct me if I am wrong but I have not heard of Muslim organizations coming out to condemn what happened to those little girls in that Livonia clinic either

A Bill to Kill

SB 97

Senate Bill 97 (as passed by the Senate)

Sponsor: “Usual Suspect” Senator Mike Kowall and Liberal Curtis Hartel

Described by a friend as an “abomination” this bill allows under public-private agreements, and exercise eminent domain  for “User fees” would mean user fees, tolls, consumption charges, rents, license fees, or similar or ancillary charges relating to the use of eligible projects. User fees also would include fees and charges for creating, maintaining, and administering an account, including credit card, bank, and similar fees and charges. The term would not include tolls charged on any transportation project.

On anyone in the state, in the locality of one of these “public private agreements!”
