Progressive Republicans – The Enemy Within Michigan

What YOU Can Do

A Quick Reminder: Its NOT over until the AG issues a FORMAL OPINION

As reported by MLive “After an informal opinion from Assistant Attorney General Ron Robinson that the (Michigan Civil Rights) commission didn’t have the legal authority to fulfill that ask,( a back-door attempt by LGBT groups and the ACLU to add “sexual identity and gender identity” (SOGI) to Michigan’s Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act (ELCRA). the board voted unanimously to set the request aside, but voted 5-2 to request a formal opinion on the matter from the Attorney General’s office.”

State of Michigan Legal Updates

Attorney General Opinions
AG Opinions are formal opinions concerning the state of the law regarding a particular topic. They are only binding on the agency asking for the opinion. Although courts do not have to follow AG Opinions, they generally treat them with great deference. Because of this deference it is generally advisable to follow formal AG Opinions. …

It should be noted that there’s a difference between a formal AG Opinion and an informal opinion or memorandum of law. Informal opinions and memorandums are written to provide guidance only and are binding on no one. Formal opinions can be found on the AG’s Opinions Website

I urge you to contact the AG’s office thanking them for the informal opinion and requesting that a strong formal opinion be delivered to the Commission.

Its a very serious issue when any group or organization attempts a back door methodology to circumvent our Constitution and it needs to be dealt with swiftly and conclusively.

The very real problem with Progressive Republican (and their Progressive brothers) when in office and magnified when in office for more than one term is policy and department appointments.
Progressive Dept. heads then can appoint other Progressives to board and make policy that usually goes unnoticed by citizens. We have just seen how these appointed boards can be influenced and make or change policy, as witnessed recently when LGBT groups and the ACLU tried to unlawfully change policy via the Michigan Civil Rights Commission.

And unfortunately Michigan has the worst record as far as transparency

We have our own “deep state” to contend with.

However, such is the case with a recent policy that was revised by the Michigan Dept of Corrections. Your tax dollars will NOW go to pay for “inmates to receive hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgery while still in prison.”

A Progressive plan to normalize that which is not normal at the taxpayers expenseScreen Shot 2017-09-21 at 2.54.45 PM.

How much does hormone and sex change surgery cost? Hundreds of thousands of dollar per person according to Philadelphia Center for Transgender Surgery (PCTS)

Does it matter if there are currently less than 100 prisoners who believe they are transgender? One of the results of this policy is to ENCOURAGE more to believe they are transgender and use your tax dollars!

And Michigan can not afford to pay for Progressive experiments in social and cultural engineering since Report: Michigan to Face $2B Budget Squeeze in General Fund

So will your taxes be raised while your taxpayers go to pay for hormone therapy and sex change surgery?!

Screen Shot 2017-09-21 at 2.51.40 PMAll this is being done under the Progressive agenda psycho babble of “gender dysphoric” using doctors who apparently don’t believe in “do no harm” to these emotionally confused and disturbed individuals.

“If an inmate believes they are gender dysphoric, the corrections department’s new Gender Dysphoria Collaborative Review Committee will look at the inmate’s medical history and give a medical and psychological evaluation to potentially approve treatment.” Legal News

Gender Dysphoria Collaborative Review Committee? Did anyone know this even existed?
Who is on it? After a call to the Dept. since no one is listed, I was told staff, “doctors” and this man Ken McKee, Deputy DirectorScreen Shot 2017-09-21 at 3.06.47 PM

Earlier I called the Dept of Corrections and had a very interesting conversation with the lady who answered the phone.

Me: So those idea was to revise policy?

Lady on the phone: “The Board’s”

Me: So everyone on the board collectively had the same idea at the same time?”

Lady on the phone: “Well no, we were contacted by the Southern Law Poverty Center”

BINGO!!! Progressives helping Progressives.

For those who are unfamiliar the Southern Poverty Law Center is an infamous non-profit “The Southern Poverty Law Center is perhaps best known for its “hate map,” a collection of organizations the nonprofit deems “domestic hate groups” that lists mainstream conservative organizations alongside racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and is often referenced in the media. A gunman opened fire at the Washington, D.C., offices of the conservative Family Research Council in 2012 after seeing it listed as an “anti-gay” group on SPLC’s website.”

Just recently they were in the news for funneling cash over seas
Southern Poverty Law Center Transfers Millions in Cash to Offshore Entities Left-wing nonprofit pays lucrative six-figure salaries to top management

So the Southern Poverty Law Center is making Michigan policy with Snyder appointees within Michigan government. Well that just super! (sarcasm inserted)

Screen Shot 2017-09-21 at 3.09.43 PMThe Director of the Michigan Dept of Corrections Snyder appointee Heidi Washington. As director she would definitely would have known about the revised policy. Interesting in that she is or was running for a position on the Board of the NRA

What YOU Can Do

Since this is new revised policy we need to take measures now to reverse it so it does not become entrenched policy.

You may call Ms. Washington at 517-373-0720 or the Deputy Director Ken McKee at 517-335-1418 and express your opinion.

You can contact your Rep and ask them to do what is necessary to reverse the policy.
